Melior Property Limited in St Albans

Dishonest and unethical people. We made an offer at the asking price through a reputable agency. This was accepted. We paid the key deposit and passed our referencing. We served notice on our flat, hired movers and ordered new carpets and furniture. The contract came through, we accepted on the same day and got ready to move in. In the evening the agency called. They were extremely embarrassed to let us know that the landlord was pulling out. The owners had kept showing the property through Marsh & Parsons, taken a second key deposit (which is not allowed)...the rest is history. The owners behind Melior Property did not care about the difficulty they were causing us, and were obviously content to leave a family of four high and dry, right before the Christmas Season to boot. Of course, we now see the whole sorry experience as a blessing in disguise.
